About

In April 2023, UK Social Worker, Bidem organised a seminar, “Positive Integration of Families into the UK”. The outcome of this seminar was the establishment of African Parenting Support in the UK, Afriparent.com. It is a platform which aims to support African immigrant families within the UK. Afriparent.com was developed to empower African immigrant parents to positively nurture and support the development of their children within the UK law. The platform aims to support African immigrant parents by providing and enabling a clear understanding of the UK guidance and information on safeguarding laws. By June 2024, Afriparent.com was set up and previously led by Bidem Specialists Consultancy Ltd. However, Afriparent has now been directly registered as a CIO with registration no. 1213577
